Never had a edible

Ive always wanted to eat an edible but never have. If I were to grind up a nice bud and bake it in a brownie would it work like that. I’m sure it wouldn’t taste very good but would it work? Anyone know a way to cook a bud or is it a waste of time?

You poor thing! Yes, but first you have to decarboxilate the bud by lightly baking it for about 20 minutes, not letting it get above 235°f. Then you can put it in the brownie mix and bake it. You can also make firecrackers with it. Just sprinkle the bud on some Nutella on a cracker, but you still need to decarb.

Is it a different Buzz?

The high will last for a long time! Sometimes up to 6 hours or more.

What and why the decarb deal and the temperature Max?

Same high as smoking though?

Well, it releases the thc, but if you go above the temperature you’re just burning it, much like smoking it.

I think it’s more of a body high, it’s different.

What method would you perform to heat it? Grind it first or What?

Just break up the bud a little, don’t grind it, and I use a toaster oven to decarb, but any oven will do. After you decarb, then grind it.

Now if you really want to rock your socks off, and do it correctly; this is a recipe I posted about a year ago. It will get you very high for a very long time…

This is my own recipe I cooked up to get a perfect dosage (for myself) in a simple, yet powerful little cookie. I eat these every single day!

Really the only difference is that I’m making canna-butter at the same time I’m making the cookies, which saves time and infuses all the THC into the butter rather than just heating raw weed on top of a fat. They also taste better because the weed is strained out.

Ingredients:
1 stick of unsalted butter (8 tbsp.), or coconut oil
1 box of Keebler Toasteds Crackers, or similar
1/2 cup of Nutella, or peanut butter
1 Tablespoon of de-carboxylated* and finely ground herb (3 teaspoons)

Method:
In a small pot, melt one stick of butter (or coconut oil) on low heat.

Slowly add the herb to the melted butter and stir occasionally for at least 1 hour. DO NOT BOIL! Keep heat just high enough to allow a slow simmer. There should be a little movement with small bubbles on the surface.

Using a metal strainer, strain the herb from the butter in a measuring cup. There should be 1/2 cup of strained canna-butter (or oil). While the butter or oil is still warm, add 1/2 cup of Nutella to make a full cup of spread. Mix thoroughly.

Let the mixture set for at least 1 hour in refrigerator.

Once the mixture has set up, spread a heaping teaspoon onto a cracker and set another cracker on top to make a sandwich cookie.

Keep refrigerated for up to 6 weeks, or freeze for up to 6 months.

*De-carboxylating herb:
Spread broken up buds on a sheet pan and heat to 230°. Heat for 30 minutes. Do not allow to go over 250°.
Let cool and grind buds finely.

I am quite sure when my auto is finished I’m going to try a nice photo strain. I’m sure if I do the topping and whatever I choose I will be able to produce much more bud than an auto. Do you agree with that or not?
