Need to flush soil right before harvest?

Hello, I just read somewhere on google, that you need to flush the soil before harvesting plants. Is this true?

No it’s not. Is it recommended? Yes it is. The difference between properly flushed and dried/cured flower and flower that was NOT is like night and day.

I don’t flush. Long as you do your curing and drying right no problems. :+1:

By “flush” does that mean just giving water with no nutrients for the final week to 10 days before harvest, or does it mean a full blown flush as in what is done to settle out a ph problem with the 3 to 1 ratio of water to pot size?

Great question, the article did not specify. Does anyone here know???

Correct…you just load it with water at the end.

It’s the first one. Many people refer to it as a cleansing so as not to confuse it with flushing.
