Need to cut the light back to 12 hours a day

A customer has a question and I hope we can get some opinions on it, thanks

"Hello, I placed my order back in November and have been growing the seeds I got since. Only maybe 3 or 4 of my 25 seed order didn’t make it past seedling stage. I’m In growing the plants, I’ve got an advanced system and the plants are doing well. Sadly I lost two last week as I had a piece of sediment block their irrigation line and they were let to dry.

It is now May 5th and I don’t have any buds. I have fairly nice looking plants, 4’tall or so on average, but no buds yet. To my knowledge I purchased autoflowering plants. Otherwise I’d know I need to cut the light back to 12 hours a day. Can you help me out here?

I would suggest if they’ve been growing since November, change the lighting to 12/12. I doubt they are auto’s, perhaps just feminized. In any case, you can still change to 12/12 to try to promote flowering.

Good luck!
