Need some help correctly pin pointing the age of my plant

I got 2 chicks in a tent in my basement that I took in from a friend a little while after it started flowers but I couldn’t get a correct date as to when it started flowering and how long in. He said it was about 3 weeks in. And then it had some schedule changes on it’s light it got 30 hours of straight darkness then lights went on one day at 5pm off at 5am and then 2 days later I fucked up and never put the light on at 5pm so I started it at 5am and turn it off at 5pm. I’ve had it for a month now. I’ve been using fox farms nutrients. Recharge and mammoth P. Water ph to 6.0 with gh ph up and down. Here is how sho looks. I’m asking how long I got ???

Any attempt to guess the age will only be an estimate…Just a guess.
The more important question is are they ready to harvest?
You need a jewelers loupe to inspect the trichomes.

A Jeweler Loupe is a must have item. It takes the guess work out of the equation. But judging by the pistils, you maybe ready for harvest. Again the jeweler loupe takes the guess work out. You can get one on Amazon for $10. A small price to pay for peace of mind. :+1:

My best guess is about 4.5 weeks in, pistils are starting to turn brown. Some have already withdrawn into the calyx, and swelled. If you were to examin trichomes, you should see approximately 50-40% cloudy trichomes. Maybe more.

Yes thank you all. I’m not ready to even go and grab my loupe and check I was estimating it to be around week 6 of flower maybe around week 7 on a 9 week flower I disturbed flower. But I’m not asking about harvesting yet lol. That’s when the plant tells me she’s ready. I will have a thousand curing questions. And how dry is dry enough to start curing. I read a lot of different information about curing and j don’t know who to trust I have grown about 10 plants in my life up until a few months ago it was Only In the summer and it was always outside in pots. Only recently I made the big switch. Now all the plants I’ve grown I’ve gotten substantially better results every time through reading this site and getting help from the community and other sites. I’ve definitely fucked the cure up once because my bud turned from a beautiful green to a brownish not good smelling bud. And other times I guess I dried it too much or too quick but I eventually got the drying down and had decent smoke but never grew more than like 6 ounces at once because only ever grew one or 2 plants at a time. So I
Never had the weed long enough lol. Once it was dry enough to smoke well. Little by little. You know how that goes.

No worries we are all here to help. Try to refrain from using expletives, it’s no problem this time, but in the future you know.
Drying usually is best around 50% RH and a slight breeze with a fan to keep air movement. When the stems bend, but don’t break, you could jar them, but you do have to open them for awhile once a day to allow excess moisture to escape. Any questions at all we’ll answer. Just us the @ symbol to tag someone. @Covertgrower
Happy growing. :seedling:

Awesome thank you. I’m trying my hand at a lot of different tech at the moment. Like I said before I’ve only ever done a half a dozen backyard plants. So I’ve been going heavy with things that are new to me. Cloning is new to me so I’ve been having good success with them o took. A clone off of a budding plant and it’s been some time but it’s finally got a root system. But yeah it’s all
Pretty new to me at the moment. I started indoor growing in September I have my plants in coco loco and I do like the way they grow in it. I don’t like that it gets dried out so quickly. I work long days so that gets a little crazy when the plants are in small containers. And very young. I can see my self needing another tent real soon.

Awesome! I’m all out of likes at the moment.

@123Rosie If you let the photos load before posting, the pictures will show. The next screen shot shows the check mark which means it’s done loading.

Example…let it go till it’s done.

I got some information from the guy who gave em to me. Says September 18 they went in to flower. I did have a light schedule change and 24 hours of darkness at about 2nd week of flower or so. I’m at day 60 of flower today. Started flush a week ago. Just water and mammoth p but this week just water. This is a few pictures of them today. Thanks all for the tremendous help and all the information I’ve been able to soak up here from
On the spot help to emails to reading peoples entire grow journals. It was a uphill battle the entire time to actually feel like I kind of know what I’m doing lol. I still feel that way sometimes. Day 61 today they have been on only water. Flushing them out with an extra gallon or so every other day.

i harvested at day 70 after not watering them for a week and letting them get real dry on the stem also gave to days of
Darkness. One of them was very potent smelling rite out of the gate and it on my got stronger. The buds where a bit airy but I blame that in the fact that the plant ya grew under a viper spectra light. Even though they still look good.
