I don’t see anything wrong with your seedling. Humidity is critical at this growth stage and should be covered with a humidity dome, a solo cup will work. At this stage they feed themselves through absorbing the condensation through their leaves until the roots are established. Typically 10-14!days. Definitely need more lights for down the road. Right now that seedling only needs about 30% of the 100 watts
11inchs is abit close they recommend 30inches from the top of ur seedlings
Read all around here And on youtube Mr.CanucksGrow and Mr growit are great channels to watch
You don’t need a lot of light intensity during the first several weeks. When I germ seedlings it’s under a T5 fluorescent bulb or a 35 watt led light. I have 1 at 3 weeks above ground under a wills 1000 watt at 30%
Looking healthy, hungry though by seeing the top of your pot. I would start watering in a ring about 6” around the plant base, that’ll get those roots spreading out searching for the water. She’s around 10-12 days above ground? Remind of your medium again? You’ll see a big growth spurt around 2.5- 3 weeks above ground. Here is a Northern Lights I was going to cull, looked like a pencil stub with 1 cotyledon, 2nd pic is 12 days later. Water only using FF coco loco
@OGIncognito im using ffof. Your plants are beautiful man. I have 4 other plants growing
And yeah they about 10 days old
That’s a great growing medium and will carry your ladies for several weeks watering only, no nutes needed. Around week 4 I’ll test the run off to check the amount of nutrients that have been taking in. (PPMS) that are left in the soil. Do you have holes in the bottom of your buckets? Will be needed especially growing in soil. They need the drainage. The pics I sent are a few weeks old, they have taking off since then. A few shots from Saturday. I’m here for ya brother and there’s a wealth of experienced cultivators on here willing to help
They do have holes. Man your plants look great!! And what do I need too check the run off?
A PH pen if you don’t have that and a TDS pen. The TDS (total dissolved solids) will measure your PPMS (parts per million). Both of these are critical to a healthy plant, you’ll need these to know how much nutrients to add from your run of results, and PH of the nutrient solution before feeding. You’re in soil. So a PH of 6.5 is typically the sweet spot. PPMs levels are adjusted by growth stage and your nutrient feeding schedule. You’re good right now and for at least 3 more weeks as far as nutrients, but need a PH pen for watering. My tap water is 7.2 on the PH scale and I use PH down to get 6.1 for coco. The growth stage I’m in right now requires a nutrient level of 1000 PPMs. my advice on these 2 are go with a reputable manufacturer, just like lighting. I use an Apera 20 PH pen and Blue Lab TDS/EC pen.
Yeah I have the Ph pen. This the one I have
I have too get that other pen. But when I used this. It said my Ph level was right at a 6.2 - 6.5
Very nice and your ph is in range, a little on the low side at 6.2. 6.5-6.8 will be a good range for Nutrient uptake
How can I get the ph balance up too 6.5
Next water PH at 6.7, water a nice ring 6” around the base. If the top 2” is dry give them about a solo cup a piece
Thanks man your a big help!!! I have so many questions about I just want a perfect grow💯 So giving them that much water raises the Ph levels?
The Water at 6.7 is in the soiL PH range. Keeping your nutrients or water within 6.5-6.8 range. When you said yours was 6.2-6.5 I’m assuming that was your tap water at feeding and not run off? They are still too young to water until you see it coming out the bottom of the pot (that’s your run off). For now PH your water within the range I mentioned and feed in small doses using the ring method. You’re still doing great and so are they. Ask any questions my brother, we all started this way . I’ll tag you on my grow I’ve got going
That’s natural, not typical in a young seedling in a less than fertile medium. FFOF is hot, just keep up the PH water routine and they’ll be fine
Are those like tent stakes you’re using to manifold that plant? And I notice your ladybugs. How are they working for you? I’m using them too for thrips but im not sure if theyre actually eating them.
