First grow. I’m indoors in a 3x3 doing an organic grow (nature’s living soil) in CocoLoco. I’ve got some problems. They started out doing very well but seem to have had some issues is the past week or two. I’m on a 20/4 schedule. My daytime temps run about 78-79 with night time approx 69-70. RH is approx 45%. Using RO’d water only with a 6.6 pH. No nutes given the living soil but I have fed some microchum the last few weeks as well. I thought perhaps I was under watering them and haven’t been able to bring daytime temp any lower than 78, so was thinking heat street plus lack of water but I am not certain. Possible deficiency but I just don’t know. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated. Pics below.

I thought this may be light burn because I think the xs2000 I am using are pretty powerful. However, plants were not that close and I’ve raised the light a bit since discovering this but the problems seems to persist.
When using organic soil, with no calcium supplement, and using RO water you definitely need to add it into your nutrient schedule.
This is calcium deficiency.
Are you sure using Nature’s Living Soil is compatible with growing in coco? I hadn’t heard of that so I went to Natures Living Soil web site and they specifically mention using it in soil. I think you will continue to have call-mag deficiencies unless you start feeding every watering and treating like a non-organic grow.
Growing in coco loco is a completely different experience then growing in soil.
Coco should not dry out and should be watered frequently, as many as several times a day. Soil needs watering every 3-4 days or more.
Soil can be a living growing environment, coco can not as it is mostly just coconut fibers.
Soil contains nutrients, coco needs feeding every time you water. It also needs cal-mag added to every watering/feeding.
It’s too late in the grow to correct, but next time you need to get Fox Farms Happy Frog, or Ocean Forest, or one of the other brands that were recommended by Natures Living Soil.
