Help been growing a bubble gum plant. Switched to 12 on 12 off light schedule 4 weeks ago. Still no buds what’s wrong

Have you tested for light leaks? If there is light getting in to the tent during lights off time, they will not start flowering unless they are autos.
The best way that I know of to test for light leaks is to sit in the room/tent when lights are off. After about five minutes my eyes fully adjust and any light that you can detect may be enough to prevent flowering or cause a hermie.
Did you see any pre-flower pistils before switching to 12/12? At eight weeks I would certainly expect to see them.

Good call on the light leak. Didn’t think about that. He may have a bad timer that kicks on for a bit during light out
