Has it been beside that fan for whole time? cold rootzone and the constant breeze may be making it grow slower I tend to shuffle and rotate my plants around daily in my space since lights all have sweet spots and plants tend not to like no reprieve from a breeze.Primarily I would just assume you started from seed and the plant is only small due to it’s genes but try moving it see what happens.
Can I ask how many weeks are they?
Hi Donald, I’m rotating my plants to. During the day is important have a extra fan or only the fan with the carbon filter is enough?
Thanks for answer.
Those plants are 4 weeks old.
Depending on daytime temps the fan is to help strengthen stems increase airflow between and around plants and also keep room right temps. Ideally the fan is aimed between the plants and light oscillating so it just lightly makes leaves move as plants get bigger fan can be faster but should not be constantly aimed at one area or hitting a plant through it’s whole movement. you don’t always need to run it during dark but it does help control humidity and prevent mold and bud rot.
they will Grow anywhere from double to 4 times the size by end of flower cycle depending on strain
Funny story about the plants growing more in flower… Friday I could have sworn I switched my light timer to 12/12 on my coco grow, checked today because I entered my room 10 mins early and the lights were on already. I switched all the timers but the lights to 12/12 lol. They have been growing more than an inch a day since Friday and are now sitting at 26" in a 7ft tent. Hopefully they decide to be nice and not flower stretch to much
Thank you so much.
Np I’m just a noob trying to learn as much as I can and see how others are progressing… ty for posting your question…I’d have never know it’s good to rotate the plants from a constant breeze if you hadn’t
I use a 1000w hps so just a little tid bit I rotate plants through room every water I also 1/3 turn every pot every day if using sea of green this makes your plant both work and always get light at new angles a plant left stationary will grow towards the light even angle it’s leaves to face it. By moving the plant it moves strengthening limbs and producing more leaves to make best use of light I use a light mover as well which means light hits plants from almost every angle the rotation fills any gaps. The stronger the stems and leaves the bigger the buds they will support and grow
Nice! With all th adjustments I’ve made my babies have been flipping in circles facing the lights as I move and add lights so I guess that’s been working in my favor…I just picked up a small fan like 5mins ago
