Hello guys, this gelato is about 3 weeks old. Its my first time growing and i did some mistakes like having too much heat but it happened once and then fixed the problem right away. However since that day the edges of the first leaves started wilting and then the second set but it didn’t go further. Then after that, discolouration started appearing on the first set of leaves. I didn’t notice discolouration anywhere else but now i can see that new growth has a lighter colour too, im not sure if thats natural? Also i noticed the leaves pointing slightly down after every time i water it, and i wait until the soil is dry more than an inch deep. Then overnight they go back up.
I didnt give any nutrients as im not sure whats happening. Heres the soil information and a pic of the plant.

This is a micro grow situation hence the cfls and the small ventilation. The box is 40x40x40cm but i will be upgrading to a bigger space with LED very soon.
Im using a standard Milwaukee pen style ph tester, i dont have an EC meter yet, waiting to arrive.
Tap water
Been watering 10 ml on the edge of the pot the first 2 weeks then increased it to 15ml in 3rd week.
However i reduced it back to 10ml after a couple of waterings as i noticed the leaves were starting to point down.
Heres a close-up picture
Thank you.

Yup she does look good. Those edges could simply be aftersigns of a tid bit overwatering. How often do u make it rain for her?

Hey thanks for the reply
The tiny new leaves started having a lighter colour but i guess it will get darker as it grows?
I water it when the soil is dry an inch or so deep. However since i noticed leaves pointing down after watering i assumed soil was still moist deeper where the roots are, and that way i might overwatered it a bit. Now i wait over night to water after the soil dries an inch deep.
Probably only need to water that like once every three days not much roots yet to soak up watering everyday did the same with mine was super overprotective checked it every hour lol welcome to the forum
Hey man, thanks for the advice. It makes sense, i will allow more time between waterings. Lol i started like that to but in 2 weeks time i calmed down now i check every 3 hours…

Yup. Here are my girls.
Have only been watered twice in 2 weeks (not counting the preplanting soil drench i do before dropping seeds)
At this age/stage they really dont have massive root system
I see so the problem is that i ve been watering too much. I ll try watering every 3-4 days and see what happens.
Thank you man.
No problem. I watered Friday? Not looking to do so again for a few more days. Also i live in the Gulf Coast Area so my humidity is usually off the charts. May have something to do with how long i can go, but every other day is a tad much.
If u need anything else feel free to tag like @anon11529179 ill see ur message
So its already Wednesday that means you allow about a week between each watering? And with humidity levels that can vary a bit if im understanding this correctly?
My humidity its pretty much always at 50% so if that number is always the same that means watering can be done every equal amount of time. I always check the soil first though.
Yes. First couple of weeks i dont think 2-3 waters a week actually accomplishes anything except slightly drown her roots. As they age, the frequency of watering should go up. But at that size? She cant have many roots at all.
When i started, i was giving this AMAZING tip for watering little plants in big pots. Start watering out about an inch from the plant and go in circles. U want to keep the area around the stem dry and force her roots to search ‘outwards’ for the water. U dont have to saturate the whole pot. Just get a good ring around her
