Need a gram scale that I can calibrate with weights

Prefer a med size scale that I can recalibrate once in a while. Or is that an old school thing lol. My last one years ago was an Ohaus triple beam. Finding tons of scales. Hard to find a med size table top model that can be calibrated for under $50. Any ideas?

I’ve got this one. I’m happy with it and have used a more expensive scale to confirm its true.

Maybe it’s just me… but you could just be old school and get a cheaper digital one from a head shop, and just use a nickel to calibrate. And the tare if you need to. Unless you got the money to buy those 80$ scales.

Thanks everyone. Just ordered a Ohaus Triple Beam used for $30! Never wears out, no chips to go bad, no batteries, temps dont affect it and always 100% on the money. :sunglasses::+1:

It’s nice that you can literally use pocket change to check the calibration of a scale!

I learned that from an old school stoner when I was like 14. A nickel is 4.9 grams. Supposed to be 5. But depending on the print and stuff they can fluctuate. So just go off the 5gs. Nobody else has heard of this?

Yes I’m old school in years lol. That’s back when you could gap points on a Chevy with a match book cover!

I knew I couldn’t be the only one that heard of that. But I’m not that old. Lol.
