I have 3 plants, 1 is ahead of the other 2. At 9 weeks into the flowering stage, “the 1” has leaves turning yellow and curling under a little. I noticed a few amber trichomes on it last night, and tonight it seems to have flushed about half of the water it got last night. Is this normal plant behavior nearing the end?
From what I’ve read, trichomes should be around 60% amber colored for harvesting and use a microscope or magnifying glass / jewelers loops on a test bud (especially if you want a more upper high from a Sativa). Indicas you can wait longer since you’re looking for a more indica type high anyway, the fan leaves will yellow and even start to drop off when the flowers are ready for harvest.
Do you have pictures? 1 showing overall condition of the plant and a couple close ups of buds would be ideal.
I don’t see anything that says harvest immediately. Should be plenty of time to get pics with scope.
Cool. Will post more when i can. Thanks.
I said 60%, your image says 50-70%. Lol.
You said 60% amber that’s the high I like myself. Some people like fully clouded
A few close ups
Are those from leaves or buds? I would try specifically to get pics from buds, leaves have a tendency to be a little more mature and most people discard them or use for extracts.
Those were from the colas. I cant seem to keep my hand steady enough, so when i got a clear picture i took it.
Heres 1 more. I will practice and get better pics when i can

You could probably harvest when ready then. I see mostly cloudy with small amount of amber trichomes.
Thats what i was hoping for. Will do it this weekend. Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it.
