Okay guys. She in the only one out of 5 plants that looks like this.(maybe cuz she was closest to co2?)
On my other plants the suger leaves are small and normal. I feel like on this one they are blocking the light from getting to the actual bud. Can I remove some? I was told only the big leaves but these ones are out of control. Suggestions anyone? Please and thank you.
I have two explanations for sugar leaves getting out of control the first is simply genetics some strains just have a ton of leaves like that, the other is feeding to much nitrogen during flower it makes the buds fluffy and full of leaves. This is why miracle grow is bad for growing weed it continues feeding nitrogen throughout your grow
They are super skunk photo. And they are on 12 to 12 timed lights.
Feeding might be it. Means this was my first time using nutes (FF) and I didn’t have it right at first. But my other 4 plants do not look like this and they all got the same amount. Should I trim them to get more light to the top part of the bud? I did flushed it because of the tips and they way she is dark up top and lighter green towards the bottom. (And I’m on week 12 of flowering and she’s the only one not done)
@HobbyDobby , I throw whatever is not used in the trash in black bags just so my neighbors can’t see anything once it’s in the trash truck they can’t tell where it came from unless you put a piece of mail in the same bag
I tend to pile up many a leaf and throw it away on big trash days… preferably refrigerator clean out days… with plenty of organic goodness in there to help decompose.
Lately I even dry it, mulch it, and grind it into soil. Dont wanna overdo it and kill my pH but it hasnt caused a ruckus yet
Still gonna be some funk coming from those bags, maybe winter they would be frozen soon enough, but in the summer…
I’m within the law so not worried at all really about that, but even in a decent neighbor hood 5 well grown plants are worth enough money to someone else to worry about.
The big fan leaves don’t have much smell. That’s the only thing I throw away. And it goes in a trash bag. As for all other trim… it gets ground finely using a vegetable chopper. I then make capsules from the butter. Pretty simple to do.
