I think @Lacewing is the pest expert around here? I always see them tagged in pest related stuff at least. Sorry to hear that man hopefully you can do a bud wash and be in the clear

Sorry we don’t do bugs, try to eradicate anything in your grow with a blast of co2.

Nothing lives once you remove its ability to breathe…

It kinda looks like a red flour beetle… if it were, it might have just happened upon the bud because they literally eat grains, flour, seeds, etc…

That’s about the only thing I know that looks like that… sorry

Ok I can’t find any more so hopefully it was just something that popped on my trimming tray while it was in the closet or something . Hopefully that’s the only one. Now if I can get rid of these fungus gnats that’d be great. I’ve tried everything de, mosquito bits, gnatrol, sticky traps it’s been 3 weeks since I started treatments I don’t understand how they are continuing to thrive and breed. Any ideas of what more I can do? I’m stumped, appreciate the help .

Sorry to hear about your fungus gnats. What sized pot are the problem plants in? The reason I ask, is the only way I finally got rid of them was to pull the plant from the container (luckily it was only a 1 gallon container). Gently brush off all the roots, replant with fresh soil. I literally tried CDJB, Neem, Trifecta, PureCrop1, Liquid Ladybug, DE… I’m sure more too LOL.

Not sure if the plant is bigger… maybe dry it out really well then hit it again with a barrage of chemicals. I can’t believe how hard they are to get rid of.

I use a product called organishield out of CO. One $8 bottle makes a gallon and a fourth of that cleared up the gnats and spider mites in about a week of spraying. The rep said that the critters do not become resistant.

I also will put 20 drops of rosemary oil in a gallon of feed water once a week when I remember. Supposedly, insects don’t like the taste when chomping.

So can anyone help me out with this. I actually had one of my seedlings die on me . I was gonna cull her anyways since this a pheno hunt. Either way the plant died . Now I have another one displaying the same symptoms. Starting with the leaves getting brown spots leading to overall determination. The other one that died could t hold herself up. Any ideas of what this can be I don’t want to spread to the rest of my plants and lord knows I’m having. A hard time enough dealing with these fungus gnats. @CooterJuice @BigCat420 @Graysin @GreggT @PharmerBob any thoughts? Thanks everyone hope your day is starting out great!
