You can top either way or both really. I don’t really do that at all because it prolongs veg time and creates plants that take up a lot of space. It’s not really in line with what I like to do.
Once you figure out what size space you plan on growing in, I would be happy to recommend a light. But until you have a space I’m not really sure what would fit or do well.
