I think your fine, you’re getting close so I wouldn’t worry too much but I think I would ask @Bulldognuts, he helped me alot
thanks
Is 6.3 runoff ph or what you’re putting in. If it’s runoff readings you are probably OK on ph. If it’s what you are putting in I would raise it to at least 6.5 or a little higher. If it’s 6.3 coming out there’s a chance that it might actually be lower in the root ball. Lower yellow leaves can be a sign of nitrogen deficiency. You’ve got long enough to go that you should probably try to address it. I’m going to tag some people that have helped me see if they might be able to help. @Myfriendis410 @Covertgrower can you guys take a look at pic and see if you might know what’s causing lower leaves to turn yellow.
I was thinking that too but the yellow leaves were scattered about at all levels I had trimmed some of the worst ones off already didn’t think to take pictures first left any that were still partly ok. Should I increase all three of the base nutrients to the 8mls per litre from 5? What range of PPM should I go for as t this stage? 6.3 in how to I raise Ph?
Nitrogen deficiency is most likely the case with it being that far into flower.
Sometimes the lower leaves get beat up, don’t receive as much light, and a natural die off occurs.
I would continue to monitor the situation, and the leaves that have turned won’t come back, but you give it a bump in nitrogen to slow the process.
I’m in 5 gallon pots do you think it might be root bound they all have roots right out the bottom Of my cloth pots filling the drip trays? Showing at the top too! I will boost the nitrogen any recommendations for how much I feed all four the same they are all the same kind grown from seed all about the same size it has the biggest buds so far so the other ones might go the same way. What if I sat them in a bigger pot with more soil underneath or will they be ok as is with 4 weeks to go?
if they are Fabric pots, from what i have read in the past, this is normal, i was concerned about mine also but they turned out fine. I don’t think its root bound. your plants look nice and big so i think if you follow @Covertgrower advice you should be fine.
I would think that you are far enough into flower that transplanting may do more harm than good. You probably wouldn’t want to much stress on them it would slow down bud development. I know stress can cause a hermie. Might want to hear from someone with more experience.
Already did! Let’s see what happens! Thanks @Bulldognuts @Covertgrower I also just learned that the PH goes down when the water sits I did not know that. So that’s the difference between the plants. I collect water for three days to water once. Did not re check PH aha!
Not disagreeing with with you but I know that the water that I have sitting has tended to drift up. Regardless, always check ph as a last step before watering.
I was born ass backwards but will be checking all!
The real thing to know of this lesson is that ph will drift up OR down, depending on the composition of your water. Always ph again after water sits, especially for use again.
Transplanting with 4 weeks to go probably wasn’t necessary, but with the added soil, it should stay hydrated a little longer.
@SheilaT Sorry I wasn’t more help work got i the way, @Bulldognuts and @Covertgrower have you covered. The only thing I would add is remember to add full pictures of the plant. It was a lot easier to diagnose when we could see the whole picture.
Didn’t transplant was just wondering If I should. I’d rather not at this stage in the game. Just thought if I had to I could fill a larger pot half way an set it on top for the roots out the bottom of the pot. Guess I don’t need to which is great
You have been lots of help and I will remember
Ok folks here we are in week six of the bloom phase. I would like to thank everyone who gave me there help and advice.
The girls have had there hair cuts and now we wait.
Is it normal for 4 plants the same age, the seeds even split on the same day., to mature at different times ? I think one might be a bit ahead of the other three. It has a lot more brownish red hairs than the other ones do. The other ones are just beginning to have some
These don’t seem to be as far along what do you think?
Here is a close up of our beautiful Trichomes! this is the plant I think is ahead a bit image|375x500
This is one of the other ones
Out of likes, your Ladies are looking fantastic. I think that at 6 weeks I wouldn’t worry about one being a little farther along. When they get a little closer to harvest you can make the call to chop one a little earlier if necessary.
