Silica is basically just sand. LOL!
In plants it helps build strong cells and beefy plant structure. It also helps trichome production and some studies indicate that in addition to stimulating trich production it also makes them stick to the plant better! So less loss to handling! LOL!
Honestly for an auto I wouldn’t bother. It’s such a short period of time I’m not sure it’ll make much difference.
I use it on my photos though.
Shouldn’t use it until after you’ve done the bulk of your LST and training and it should be added to the water FIRST when mixing nutes.
