My first grow ever. ILGM WW auto

Germinated the seed 8 days ago. 2’x2’ grow tent, Viparspectra 300 watt blurple light (better light on order already). FFOF in a 5 gallon pot. Cheap chopsticks from a takeout order to aid in LST. I have a picture of my little plant but I’m trying to figure out how to upload it. I think it looks OK for now. I’m just using this to document my first grow. Pretty excited at the idea of growing my own bud as a hobby. AZ just legalized it less than a month ago and the places I used to get my bud from all have raised their prices and seemed to lower their quality I guess due to COVID?

Here she is after I watered her and turned on the light and fan this morning.

So far so good. New light is supposed to come today.

She turned 2 weeks old today. The bottom leaves seem a deeper green than the top leaves. Is this normal?

Started a little light LST today. Last time I watered (yesterday morning) I top dressed with worm castings and bone meal.

Should be interesting to watch and see what those little nodes that are low on the main stem do now that they are getting some light.

Day 18 she’s getting stretched out a bit with the ties, but she doesn’t seem to mind a bit.

Look at all those new little branches that are now getting light.

Left her alone yesterday. This morning I noticed the fan leaf on the right side was blocking two lower nodes so I cut her off for the greater good of the plant.

Look at all that lower growth just thriving with the older fan leaves out of the way.

Jus my opinion but viparspectra lights r not all tht bad…with my experience (p1000) it is great seedling and veg but noticed alot slower growth into pre flower and early flower…beelux is the reverse…here is a pic of my wwa now(the blurble light is the beelux viparspectra the white)

Buds are super dense suprisingly!!!
I used ff soil trio w/ 3gal smart pots
All seeds started the same time but all are ay different stages of flower…autoflowers r sooo weird!!!

For the record- I had no issues with the blurple light other than I couldn’t close my tent when running it due to heat issues. I just figured I was due to make a few mistakes the way I kind of charged into this and if buying a $55 light is my biggest mistake I figure I’m doing OK.

What is your ventilation setup? Fans? I use a 4” intake inline kit w/ a sm usb fan aand keep one port hole cracked open…keeps it about perfect in there…

I had a cheapo ($20) 4" Ebay inline duct fan at first. It was rated at 100cfm but I’m pretty sure that was a stretch. Since upgraded to the $40ish one that’s supposed to put out 190ish CFM and it’s night and day how much air this one moves vs the other one. I have a speed controller on the new fan and it runs at around 10-15% if I had to guess. .

You def made a good decision there as you will need it more and more…i didnt use one the first 5 weeks then i put one in and thank heck i did cuz they super pungent now…i ran mine the same as u now(15%ish) now 60%ish so jus imagine that smaller one you have 8 weeks in…mine are 8 weeks from sprout tomorrow lol…

14 days old 21 days old…so strap in cuz these autos are fast growing from the start…i love the challange!!! Happy growing:slightly_smiling_face::slightly_smiling_face::slightly_smiling_face:

Gave her 5 teaspoons of dry doctor earth veg/tomato fertilizer via a top dress, small handful of worm castings and a compost tea today. I think I’m running out of things to train to make her more bushy right now. She probably needs to just chill and grow out for a few days.

Day 23 update:

When I had her out of the tent yesterday for tying/training, I was pretty surprised how BIG the main stem had got in just 3 weeks + 1 day. I was tying the stem to the side of the pot for support (opposite from the side I was pulling the top branch to), and i thought it was about as big as a #2 pencil. She’s a squatty/stocky lady!

Day 24:

3 of the undergrowth branches finally got up long enough for me to tie on to so the center of the plant can get some more light. Watered this morning with RO only. Before watering I top dressed with one tablespoon of powdered bone meal and a couple handfuls of worm castings.
