My Autoflower Plants are Budding too Soon

My outdoor auto flower plants have only been above ground for 5 weeks and already have flower clusters at the top and branch tips. Plus they are only 2 feet tall. The product literature says they should get 4 ft tall and not start to bloom until 3 months. I live in Southern California (perfect growing conditions). What’s going on? Should I start applying bloom fertilizer?

In general I don’t think that is unusual for an autoflower.

This is a blueberry auto on day 29 indoor grow. You could have the same strain from same seed bank and it could taller, shorter, faster or slower.

Thanks. You think I should start applying a blooming solution or is it still too early. I’d like to get some more vegetative growth but if the plant has it’s own ideas maybe I should just start feeding the flowers.

She looks healthy and not starved for nutrients. You can start with lower dose and see how she responds. She is definitely flowering so I would follow her schedule rather than a calendar.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. I’m a long time vegetable gardener. This is my first cannabis grow. Beautiful plants. I’m learning a lot. Thanks for the advice.

It will stretch 2-3x bigger while in flower. Auto flower does it’s thing. Any numbers you get are purely speculative. It does what it wants.

onion sets and first batch snow peas and shelling peas are planted.

This is day 61 of indoor grow. They grow quick for sure.

Your plant looks healthy. I also have two more autos sprouted at the same time but took longer . Their a lot bigger .

Glad I could help
