My auto GDP going mental

Hiya, love this forum, normally just pour over all the journals but I have a question.
I have auto gdp, auto blue dream, auto purple hulk and a Girl Scout cookies photo.
Yeah, not best to mix but I wanted to try one of each. It’s a full tent. 4 x 4 x 6.
My question is… my gdp going mental, growing very fast with loads of spindly buds starting, the stalks seem thin. I’ve had to ties them to keep an even canopy but I’m struggling. Anyone experienced this? All fed on same nutes. All healthy as. Apart from a mad looking gdp! I hope they fatten up. 8 weeks old. Just turned to 12/12 for my photo a couple weeks ago. Took a pic, yeah it’s a shite pic but you can see gdp at the back

Looking good They’ll fatten up an make nice buds. You might consider pulling an tying some of the tall limbs down while they are flexible. In order to keep your light at a good height for the rest of the plants. Just my thoughts good luck.

would suggest you read the Free Grow book on this site.
lots of good information.
One of the reasons I only grow one strain at a time is…the different growth and nutes needs. Diff strains have diff needs.
suggest you slowly add diff nutes to see if sparseness goes away.

Good thinking. Yes I’ve read sections of that. I was just so happy to get the seeds, I wanted to try each one. Lesson def learnt :+1:

Thanks for your input. I have been tying them down, but will do more. They are quite pliable atm. I sure do hope they fatten up! :+1:

Thanks so much. Will check ph levels. Haven’t done that for a while.

It’s the end of winter here in NZ - I’m wondering if I should take one of my autos out of the tent and put it on the balcony? To give the GDP and others in the tent more room. Perhaps the balcony in the day and bring it into the lounge at night when it gets cold?

What do you think? It’s so crowded in there :yum::yum::yum:

Yes sounds good ! Being a auto I think it’ll be fine to put out and bring back in at night. As long as it is not too cold outside day time.

Awesome… I will try it.
I have a Caramelicous auto that I’ve been doing that with. Planted at same time as the ones in my tent. She is taking twice as long. image

Beautiful plants ! Early flowering stage, I can see how you’re running out of room. Plant will do fine with daytime temperature outside.

My gdp still spindly but I’m finally getting some purple on my purple hulk! Still moving them outside in the day and back in at night. Weathers crap and hoping that lack of full sun doesn’t affect them. Forecast is crap too. patiently waiting for my ilgm stuff but in the meantime…
