i think the reason i am having so much problems with the seedling stage this time is that i used half sized solo cups so that they would be ready to transplant earlier. i think the half sized cups are stunting the growth of the seedlings. this being the case, i am going to go into town and make up 3 three gallon pots so that i can transplant the three plants that are up and have barely 4 nodes out. it is not time to transplant them yet but i’m going to anyway. the two plants that i have transplanted are doing great so that is the reason i’m going to transplant these three early. i will probably do the same with the three that are just coming up out of soil.

transplanted the plants and all the dirt dropped of the roots. had a bunch of myccorhizae in so am hoping for good luck.

topped both gg plants and i was late in that also so chopped at 5th node.

How are the ones in the pics doing?? That was a week ago, gotta be a an inch or two bigger. So I see 7 days of germ…is that in paper towels Monk. What exactly did day 7 encompass.

i start the germ stage when i put them into water and it continues until they pop up out of soil. the new three were put into soil 2 days ago, one popped up in one day, the other two aren’t up yet.

the two bigger ones from this grow are growing like weeds. topped them 2 days ago, late but better late than never. i usually top when the 5th node separates from the stalk, but they were at 7th node this time… oops lol.

i have been having problems with the seedling stage this grow, i think because i have too small of a solo cup. i bought a different size in case i have issues with this last three. my mother earths peat soil is a year and a half old and i’m suspicious of it but am still using it. but as soon as i transplanted the first two they took off like gangbusters. they were early for transplant, but not as early as the next three i transplanted. those didn’t hold soil to their roots at all when transplanted 2 days ago, but they looked okay yesterday and i have my fingers crossed that they will pull thru. the last three plants are in the short solo cups and if i can get 3 or 4 nodes up out of them i will probably transplant them early also. i will take camera in today and get some pics of the veg tent and flower tent from last grow, only one left in flower tent and she is sagging badly no matter how much bracing i put up. i think she really likes the QB, seems to be more trichomes than the cp1 that used the sun 630.

i am out of soil at home so will have to bring some back from my buddies when i come home tonight in case i have to dump the last two germs.

Sounds like it’s rolling along. I use them small peat cups a lot and they are pretty small but I transplant them out quickly. I usually only get 2 weeks maybe after seedling though. I like the extra transplant though as I can start it off with some great white which I will never not use again. Great White gets them roots pumping I find.:muscle: I tried that lil jug of Mycos but it includes fertilizer like 3-0-3 or somin. The GW is str8 powder to the root ball/dirt. Good stuff Monk. Pics be awesome… I know you wanna make the ride as light as possible. You’re not getting any younger… LoL
