the only thing they had me add to the roots organic original soil was epson salt.

I haven’t done that but my run off is on point. What does the Epson salt do?

according to alex who built the super soil epson salt helps the plant take up nutes. i just searched the site and there is nothing on this site about it. he said i could add it to the soil dry one tablespoon or add it in the water every couple of waterings. he said if i added it to soil at beginning i might need to add some again later in flowering but maybe not.

i did find this in the forums

Hey those pots… are they pure fabric or do they have a plastic lining? When you said your RH is at 35-40% it made me think fabric pots would let the soil dry out really quick!

the humidity in this tent is right around 55%. i always use cloth pots, they force the roots to self trim. i don’t know if they allow the soil to dry out faster but possibly they do because air can get to the soil from all around the pot. i haven’t used anything but cloth so i don’t have anything to compare to.

i think the reason i am having so much problems with the seedling stage this time is that i used half sized solo cups so that they would be ready to transplant earlier. i think the half sized cups are stunting the growth of the seedlings. this being the case, i am going to go into town and make up 3 three gallon pots so that i can transplant the three plants that are up and have barely 4 nodes out. it is not time to transplant them yet but i’m going to anyway. the two plants that i have transplanted are doing great so that is the reason i’m going to transplant these three early. i will probably do the same with the three that are just coming up out of soil.

transplanted the plants and all the dirt dropped of the roots. had a bunch of myccorhizae in so am hoping for good luck.

topped both gg plants and i was late in that also so chopped at 5th node.
