Mixing large quantities of water? 18gallons plus?

Hello this is my second time growing and I’m trying my best to do everything right. I’ve been mixing my water in 1 gallon milk jugs and its tedious to feed multiple plants this way. My question is what do people use to mix large quantities of water. Is there a cheap way to do it? I value and appreciate your guys input.
I would need to make about 20 gallons at the moment possibly more down the line. Thanks rj

I feed 16 plants using a 2 gallon watering can and actually enjoy it. Not a chore at all, quite therapeutic actually. Is this for a soil grow ?

I’m growing in promix mycorrhizae. And 1 is in sunshine #4 . Ok I guess I’ll prolly get a 2 gallon thing going on. How long does ph up or down have to be in water to work?

PH up should work right away. Any adjustments I make I can see immediately. Ditch the 1 gallon, that would burst me doing it that way. Some use a garden sprayer to water with. Handy if you have a scrog on the go

I use a 121L garbage can filled with P.H adjusted water as the P.H of my tap water too high.

I do the same. I top it up every second day with the hose if I have no rain water :sunglasses:

Get yourself a large garbage pail with lid. Fill it with water. Adjust the p.h to 6 to 6.5. I then use empty 4L distilled water jugs to fill them with p.h adjusted water and add my nutes.

Yeah have a 10 yr old son with mild Cerebral Palsy and hight functioning Autism but with violent tendencies…i grow ONLY outdoors…i have sooo many girls, that on watering only days it takes me 40 minutes, but on a feed day it can take me up to 1 hr 45 min…BELIEVE ME I TAKE MY TIME IN MY GARDEN…I TOTALLLLLLY USE IT FOR ESCAPING… especially if my little one is having a bad day or a massive fit… thank God for Behavioral aides…AND WEED!!!
But I have 8 5 gallon buckets… l fill them on Sunday …I use that to water on Monday, refill for next day… I let it sit for 24 hours to allow for evaporation, but feed days its easy to add the correctly measured amounts for a 5 gallon bucket… Stir It Up and feed, I would suggest making one bucket and start learning how much you need… i use Fox Farms products…you can even mix the fertilizer and Big Bloom together if your plants are at that stage, I have three different stages right now three weeks apart so I give myself time to trim before the next group is done,
the VERY best thing you can do, is be on here !!! cuz here there are some REALLY AWESOME,
SMART WEED GROWING MEGA MINDS that are totally willing to help…

Whenever you’re mixing solution you want to do one large batch, as opposed to multiple small ones; same principle applies to measuring additives. If you need 5ml you never want to use a smaller 1ml syringe 5x because of a thing called cumulative error. It doesn’t sound like you’re mixing fertigation, but it’s the same for pH. Worth noting that pH will move up and down over time in water due to interaction with the atmosphere.

Sometimes food manufacturers will have large food-grade vessels they’ll give you for free. Like 50 gallon drums.

I only need 4-5 gallons. The pump is a battery operated terra pump. I believe they also make them with power converters or adapters. I use it for mixing and filling watering cans. You could also feed directly from the pail. It makes the process significantly easier. You would blow through a lot of batteries mixing that much.

High,
Welcome, the people in here know what they are doing so be attentive. I was and am fairing well with all their help. Learning too…anyway as far as watering I am using a two gallon watering can. I have all my plants in “Mother Earth.” I enjoy the time spent with my babies and it actually is relaxing. Talking to them and encouraging growth. Have some fun…

$20 is a very good price for that volume.
