Mixed autoflower offspring?

Hi, I just jarred up my first grow for curing which consisted of 1 Amnesia Haze (AH), 2 Northern Lights (NL), and 1 Blueberry (BB) grown indoor in a 2’×2’ tent. I’m pleased with my yields; 1.5oz from BB, 0.8oz for both NL, 0.9oz from AH.

I came across 1 seed during trimming of AH. Is this seed likely viable and if so will it have mixed genetics since these 3 genotypes were all grown together on the same schedule?

Welcome to the forum.

It’s not uncommon for a female plant to produce a few seeds. Whether or not it is viable depends on whether or not the seed has matured enough.

It will be the same strain as the mother plant. It doesn’t matter what other plants were around unless cross fertilization has taken place, which is unlikely if you only have a seed or 2.

Great, thanks for the quick response. I guess the best way to see if it’s viable is to try and germinate it? Do I need to do anything special to the seed before trying to germinate? How about longer term storage?

In a cool, dark, dry place.

Yes.
