Mirrors or Mylar?

I am step by step converting a spare room into a grow room. I have a four inch vent going out through the roof, osculating fan. proper lighting, and a 6/18 light schedule.

My question is this: should I use Mylar on the walls, or would it be better to cover the walls with mirrors?

Mylar! Mirrors absorb the light.

I already looked it up… just curious about mirrors. Thank goodness they suck, Mylar is much easier to set up I think. I am considering adhering the Mylar to panels and slightly leaning them at an angle over the lights and toward the plants. Any thoughts?

Mirror can actually create “hot spots” on your plants. Def Mylar @badmaster1

You could use thick cardboard for panels and tape it to the backside. Easy peezy and light to move around.

Mylar is better at reflecting light. Panda film works, too. Or white paint.

Not sure of your set up…I don’t have an expensive tent…I have a room that is 3x5 that is the water heater room and I put mylar on 3 walls then 4th side is cardboard with mylar… Total cost was less than $20 add light

You can see it in pic …good luck

3/4" pvc pipe, some 90’s and two tees will make a frame to hang mylar or a white shower curtain.
adjustable and highly mobile.
