I also moved the Grandaddy Purple out to the center of my garden so it could get more direct sunlight.
Ive read on here a few times that Miracle Grow potting soil will cause all kinds of problems. I’m using Fox Farms Ocean Forest. They have it at most of the garden centers around here.
I’ve been getting ALOT of negative vibes about Miracle Grow.
Once the Mowie Wowie AND the Gold Leaf sprout, I plan to transplant to a fox farm cut with worm castings and perlite along with the LOTUS brand four step nutes.
I used the Miracle Grow as It was in my shed from the garden.

It seems like the issue is, Miracle Grow has “extended release nutrients” and doesn’t “dry out” between waterings.

Yes, I’ve read similar points. On the surface, it sounds like a good thing. However, the more I read and study, the more I appreciate the importance of well planned nutes with human control. There is so much to learn and so many resources. Thanks for being part of my education.

Day 56, getting some frosty buds on the F1 Orion. It’s just in a 3 gallon pot with FFOF soil and Distilled water and a cheap light….don’t over think it my friend.
