Milk and water for mildew

So I have little places where white powder is appearing. The forum I just read says milk and water mixture will remedy it. Does anyone know if or what mixture of milk I should use?

It’s 1 cup per gallon, the key with milk is that light changes something in the milk and that’s what goes after the mildew, so it should be sprayed with lights on to accomplish the changes… be careful if you are in flower the buds can hold moisture and start a whole new problem

I’ve always heard to use Whole Milk and in full sun…it’s the proteins in the fats that does the work. I use it on my cucs/zucs/squash most every season.

I’ve done it and it does work BUT after the milk dries on all the leaves and are covered in white spots making it impossible to see if your looking at mold or milk. Id suggest neem oil instead.

I haven’t used milk in many years and only on grapevines (because of what @Indicanna_Jones just said) but I have seen many other growers use it. I would use something like neem oil unless in flower then I’d probably go with a peroxide water mix or something like lost coast, or even apple cider vinegar
