Mildew on marijuana

#1

A question from a fellow grower:

I fear my budding plant has mildew.
But It looks unlike pictures I’ve seen of mildew. The leaf looks as if it sparkles, with spider web type “hairs” extending from a central white spot that looks like powdery mold. It’s 4 weeks from harvest, growing outside in So Cal. What treatment would you suggest?

Here is some suggested reading, all is not lost. If you have any more questions feel free to come back and ask.

Also check out this thread in the forum about what to do after harvest if you are still worried about the fungus on your buds:

Spider mites. Buy some Food Grade Codex Diatomaceous Earth, and a typical garden duster. Dust them. Remove any damaged plant matter. Give them a good rinse 9a shower in tepid water is a perfect place to rinse and/or clean your plants) once you see no more negative activity. Make sure you place plants ( I do one at a time) immediately in front of a fairly strong fan, in order to dry plants out ASAP.

Hope this helps.
