Those sound good!

Seems like you’ll wait to give the Cherry Pie another chance.

Into the solo cups?

I had forgotten about that, sheesh…I will add one more seed to the family.

Yes indeed…

Do you do a 24-hour soak or something different?

In the past I did soak them for 24 hours before moist paper towels.

This time I moistened the paper towels with water/H2O2 and just put the seeds in directly into the paper towels without soaking them.

Is this the first time you’ve done that? If so, seeing if you can get better results or something?

It is the first time doing it this way. I have had excellent results in the past so not really looking to get better results. More an effort to simplify and remove unnecessary steps and reduce handling of the seeds.

The only reason that I continue to use the paper towel is so that I don’t plant seeds that are never going to come up. The paper towel method makes it easy to identify dud seeds as early as possible so that replacement seeds can get started as soon as possible.

I thought so.

I wondered that, but I only thought to write “easier” and didn’t want any confusion with “lazy”. I’m all for simplification!

 I am all about lazy. Less effort, more results.

I edited my previous post, take a look.

That would be nice. I’ve changed a bit lately how I germinate, and have a couple dud seeds, and/or seeds that don’t like what I’m doing.

What are your uncle points? Tail after after two or three days? Other?

That is about it…maybe give them five days before giving up on them.

I make every effort to get them into soil when the tails are 1/4"

If the stupid seeds don’t like what I am doing, they can kiss my butt.

I like to plant right after the tail emerges, more of a fingertip, but how often does that happen?

When I am paying proper attention, every time.
