Hey @Jerdan03 I’ve use both ProMix BX and HP. I didn’t add anything to it. I do put about 3" of lava rocks in the bottom of all my containers now tho, that seems to get more air to the rootzone as well. I’ve bashed my roots apart after harvest to look at them, they are all nice and healthy, so I think it must be working ok for me!
I’ve heard others do add perlite, I just never got around to it, and now it’s like one less thing I don’t have to buy. You can check out my thread using this here…
