Autos will normally flower somewhere between 3 n 6 weeks, mine seem to go around week 4 or 5

Nice… have you noticed a difference in the yield from the one’s that flower early vs the ones that flower late…?? Just curious 
I’m just finishing my second grow of autos in 5g pots. The change from 3 to 5 gallon has made the difference in my yields all my 3g autos stayed small and would start to flower around the 3rd week I was growing 4, 6, n 8 plants in my 2x4 to get much of anything now I am barely able to get 3 in there. Im still fine tuning my autos and photos for that matter because I am still trying to figure out the 7g pots on them

Do you believe in starting a seedling off in the pot it’s going to stay in for its life cycle… or is transplanting the way to go
I know growers doing it both ways (that sounds really dirty 
) but personally I use rapid rooters and put them in their forever pots straight away. I used to put my seeds straight into the soil but I was starting having some issues so I switched to the rooters. I don’t like the idea of transplanting the autos for sure

Ok thanks i think I’m going to try it with the sweet zombie… I followed your recommendations and put 10 Scoops in that 10 gallon pot and watered it in …i soaked it until I got runoff then covered it with straw

I’ve used jiffy pellets (they came with the pot4pot kits), which worked just fine, but seems like many people don’t like them. On my last plants, I put the seeds right into the soil, however, they were on the later side when they decided to come up, and both had helmet heads. So, …

So far I’ve been using these little containers for my seedlings and then transplant them it’s been working out great

Another thing I’ve seen other growers doing I think is brilliant digging a small hole in the middle of the big pot of soil and putting a lite seed starting mix in the hole to start the seeds
Edit = i read the next question about the soil being to hot … ocean forest is a little hot I’ve seen it be an issue with some seedlings so try something like I just posted on here 
I think you have happy frog if you don’t have seed starting mix use just happy frog in the little hole

@Twelve1 I use the “Rapid Rooters” I soak them in clone ex ph’d 6.4 , instead of cramming the seed into the hole i like to tear it open and setting it in I almost caught a tap root in the rooter because they’re real porous like a sponge, I don’t know how much difference it makes but it made sense to me to have them warming on the heat mat while soaking, so the seeds go into them warm

I was using solo cups for my photos for years because I like to be able to bury the stem or straighten the seedlings up when transplanting, but I have always put them straight into the pot with autos until now with the rooters it’s more of a hybrid of the two methods
That’s exactly what I did if this is what you’re talking about… i watched a few videos on this subject so i copied it. the 1st pic i just took the 2nd pic was from earlier when i prepared my soil…

I mixed ff ocean’s and hf potting soil 50/50 and added extra perlite

That’s what I thought you had told me before but I get things between different people crossed and confused or I just forget it all together
The way I was saying is just what you did but without the little plastic pot, you dig out the little hole and put your seed soil directly into the hole without a pot it’s just enough to let the seedling to get going before hitting the other hotter soil.
Next grow you’ll use the same soil again just mixing in Earth Dust but then it’s used soil and you will use more than you did this time with the new soil that already had fresh nutrients in it
