Hello again everyboody, just another quick update. Well nope the paint is not dry lol nothing new to report just a couple pics to share. I didn’t mark which were which oops but 4 sprouts hit the dirt on 3/21 (day 65) and the other 4 on 3/1 (day 57) I never write down the day they break ground just when they go in, guess I should

TENT 2

I’m was trying a new to me training technique with these two and it’s just not working out the way I imagined it. The Gelato is closer to what I was going for but the skunk is just not wanting to fill in. Don’t know how to explain my vision without trying to draw it out and my drawing skills are worse than my training skills. I was supercropping the taller branches to slow them while the little stuff was supposed to catch up but I’m running out of places to bend them over so I just topped them all off and I’m gonna wait as long as I can for these to take some kind of shape before I flip to flower. At least they’re starting to fill the tent so I should get an ounce of two out of them, it won’t be a loss and I learned something from them which is the goal when you try something new

@MeEasy that is some very nice training. I am trying several different methods with my first grow being sour diesel autos.

No thanks needed but you are welcome. I love this

Thanks I’m still learning and trying different ways to learn more training isn’t a big thing out in the woods. I just hit three years of indoor growing and I’m starting to catch on a little

It looks like you are definitely catching on pretty darn good. This is going to be fun!

Can you please explain more about this? Think I can find these at my local garden stores? I want to add something extra too just not sure what.

I get both of them from kis organics I’ll put a pic of what I use, I use a 2 gallon pump weed sprayer to water my plants so for two gallons I use 1/4 tsp of aloe flakes and 1 tsp potassium silicate put the potassium in a small bottle of water first and shake the hell out of it the aloe disappears as soon as it hits the water… They’re both $20 each free shipping … the aloe is a tiny amount (they have larger bags of both) but it makes like 100 gallons they last me a year. You grow more plants than me though…

These products are like a multi vitamin for your plants helps with overall health and their ability to drink eat and do their photosynthesis and strengthens the skeleton fights off disease bugs drought and I’m sure I missed some stuff. I would Google this stuff if it helps with half of the stuff I’ve read it’s worth it.

Another thing I get from kis is coconut water powder I use it for my plants first couple weeks only it boosts root growth but it is to expensive to use all the way through plus I don’t think it needs it. I just started trying out milk yes milk 2% straight out of my fridge, a guy on here told me about this and I did some research and I was surprised that milk could help feed your plants/soil I decided to do 2 cups in my 2 gallon water I’ve only done this once about 6 or 8 days ago and they’re not dead  of course unless it just makes your plants look like monsters you will probably never know how much it’s helping if at all but I’m game to try it.

Couldn’t find a pic of the coconut water  but it’s at kis

@MO_Grow417 you can’t PM on this forum but you can @ me here like you did or on your thread. Ask away and I or someone else should be able to help you out

It’s about ppm and how much of my nutrients to add. Mainly the kool bloom and terpinator. Here is my last 4 feeding notes the one not listed was just a plain water feeding. I feel like my ppm might be low but just looking for some advice from some more smarter people than me here, lmao.

@MeEasy What light are you running? That’s a lot of moles!

Hey @MO_Grow417 I grow in living soil now so it’s been awhile since I measured ppm of food but if my memory is right I would feed around 2000 ppm and the start of flower. I was using the fox farm trio and not flora. I wouldn’t go by my memory though it’s not that good maybe someone using flora can chime in

My light is a spider farmer sf7000 it’s a 650w/625w from wall qb led

Thank you @MeEasy. Looks like I need to learn your method. I bought some stuff to make some compost teas but I wanted to hold off til the second grow to compare with the general hydroponics I started with. What method do you use to keep the nutrients up in the living soil?

I don’t really have a lot of room for storage so instead of making my own soil I went with a premixed product of nutrients and it was surprisingly great stuff. I use my same soil over and over and just add a the mix, it’s called Earth Dust and it’s sold by a small co called thegreensunshineco they have some great lights to. There’s other companies that sell the same type premixed products kisorganics has one I’ve been wanting to try and I know other companies have similar stuff. I do add a couple of other things that are more like vitamins scroll up a couple posts above the post you made with the pictures it has the stuff I use then of course I make tea out of the Earth Dust a few times during a grow

I have to tell you though growing in living soil is probably the slowest way of growing, IMO You can grow more and great quality weed other ways but you won’t beat the smooth taste of pure organic weed. @MO_Grow

I will have to try some organic. Do you have an opinion on teas? Is amending the soil a better option or maybe easier since it doesn’t have to brew? I heard aloe leaf extract is a good surfactant for foliar sprays but not adding in water. I’ve never heard of milk. It does a body good I guess. Thank you for everything you throw my way @MeEasy
