Will a high quality PPM meter measure RO accurately if PPM is > 100?
Should. I think I’ve seen as low as 50ppm on my cheap one.
I just installed an new RO (I couldn’t get filters for the old one) and PPM is high, so I wondered. I’m getting a high reading so I guess I just need to flush the system a coupe more times.
My cheapy reads fine. Started at 0 ppm but up to 5ppm now that the filters are getting older.
Yes flush, and back flush but should be less than 50ppm.
Two flushes brought me back down to ~50 PPM, Happy, happy.
What system did you get, looking into purchasing one
[Watts Premier P531417 531417 RO Pure Plus.
I bought an obsolete Watts previously, but it has been discontinued and filters are unavailable.
