I am currently running this light. I have done one indoor grow under it and a second presently ongoing. I was wondering the life expectancy of this driver and its diodes. I realize the light could work for the rest of my life, I’m asking about productive life span. I realize it is made in China, and I will rectify that as soon as I upgrade. Thank you very much everyone. I appreciate your time and responses.

Me personally…i am a die hard union worker. In our world its important to buy american as much as possible. Although it sometimes is not a easy task, it is rewarding in the end. Why not strengthen our own economy and spend a few more dollars on a more reliable and dependable product?. Unlike some other statements…i am from america and proud of it if i get asked! Im sorry but if you are not proud of that then move to china. To the op. Its good that u are aware of the origins of your light, and are going to fix in the upgrade. Im sure the light will grow some fire, but im sure it would be a challenge to get a warranty fix, especially with our time needs.

Trust me I’m looking to help the people 30 feet away much more than those that are 6,000 miles away. I labor for a living (not union but whatever) and I’m ashamed of the amount of money in my lifetime I’ve spent on imported crap. I remember when America made the best of everything then everyone went to college.
