Another question from a fellow grower:
I am growing some feminized white widow for an outdoor growth, with the lights 2 inches away, other cases less. And the seedlings seem to keep stretching instead of broadening. Any help is appreciated
What type of lights? How powerful are they? Do you have a light breeze from a fan or something to gently shake them about?
Plants stretch to reach the light, what ever light your using this isn’t enough. or not on for long enough.
I play with mine and found out that 16 hours of light on was best for a we stretch between nodes for my White widow. 18 hours and the spacing between nodes was to short for my liking. IF all stretch with no width in growth make a little glass house and put them outside. I have used a milk crate with cellophane around it.
