Hi I’ve posted a few times but this post I want to get involved a bit more.
I’ve been growing for about 18 months and a member for a while. You are my first port of call.
I just want to post some pictures today that are 8 week old . In Coco.
I’m a late 40s malle in the UK and don’t always use medically but I do and I don’t have people at my door who I buy off.
I lack confidence. So have a look at my pics and tell me what you think and I’ll meet you simultaneously…
They were flowered in a 44 originally and have Benn finishing off in here. Logistics… you know the drill under 200w led now but was under 1600w hos
Great looking plants my friend.
You shouldn’t, it appears you have things well in hand. Gratz on what will be a plentiful harvest.
Sorry in a 4 x 4 with a 600w hps. Not got glasses on
Looking good! You’re doing a nice job it appears. First plant looks like it’s “in the window” for harvest.
Yeah nearly harvest day. Thing is I follow all the pom routines and my run off results are always way off scale. Yet they look alright. I mean 1000 in 2000 out!!
Thanks guys
Pour the liquid in at a slower rate.
Really is that it. I do try but can be slower. I also test after any side leakage. I test at different stages always been the same. Used to be worse . I was. I have a bluelab truncheon would normally flash at the top. when I put them in this tent I put them in the bath and rinsed aggressively got em down to 700. Not tested today but expect 500+
This is how my runoff looks when using a 1 gallon garden pump mist sprayer to “pour” with. (Pictured below.
This is when I pour the feed in rapidly. (Poured from jug vs sprayer)
500ppm is 3-500 ppms below when I usually give more feed, not sure you wanna keep it like that.
Advice taken thank you . Will try soon
I’m flushing so just want it to go to 200. Next watering
Your runoff isnt super exact figures to clarify. There are alot of things that can effect your numbers. Cloth pots for example, I think the seams and fabric on the bottoms collect and build up salts as water moves through them and then air drys, until you water again. Which leads to the next example how you catch your runoff (technique) and measure. So dont sweat too much over them individualy. If a trend of figures bad happens, consider action then.
For a super accurate reading do a 1:1 soil slurry. It’ll put your mind at ease.
If you arent pushing her super hard and she looks healthy, I wouldnt worry about what your runoff looks like. Good soil, like FF, has buffers to help.
I’m in Coco. They seem ready but I feel weight still going on and some white hairs. Gonna do it all soon
Stop playing lol, those are some bomb azz plants that didn’t grow themselves lol. Nice work!!
Thankyou all so much. I’m nearly 50;and I’ve never loved doing anything as much
