So first time comment and side bar question. If LST isn’t necessary do you think topping or fimming is even worth it? Or just let them rock! 
If I was growing outside, had max sun exposure, I would let them rock. Let them grow in their natural form.

Well, I ended up doing LST (and one accidental super crop) this year, we’ll see how that turns out. So far, my girls look good and have many new leaves popping out. Next year I’ll try a couple staying with their natural shape. Y’all have really helped me out. Thanks a bunch.
Rest assured, topping and LST certainly will not hinder them one bit.
