i am using hydroponics for my grow with two 300 watt mars leds in a 2x4 grow tent. i am growing four plants in a twenty gallon tub.every thing grew well and looked great but only produced about 1.5 oz per plant. nice looking buds but none really tall and fat like i have seen. i am using general hydro 3part nuts and follow the recommended dose and keep the PH great all of the time. 1.5 oz per plant could not be the norm…any recommendations would be appreciated, thanks Vern
ok here’s where the math comes in yield is not based per plant it is based per meter squared so if you are getting 6oz in under a meter sq with a 300 watt light which isn’t actual watts you are doiing fine. to up yield and density you need to up watts per foot and I mean actual watts not the compared watts a mars hydro 300 uses 150-180 actual watts divided by 8= 22 watts per sft at 180 watts if it is actual 300watts which few leds are it’s 37 watts sft which is lower than the 45-60 most use for bigger yeilds. Just a little food for thought you are doing well with your wattage for your yeild

it would help so long as you can still control your temps and humidity
in a space that size I would run 400 actual watts

I’m about to run almost a 1000 watts with 2 CFL 125 watt grow lights on side of a China Brand led and An Advance Led XTE 200 in a 2 x2x2 tent with 2 inline fans , a small fan , Co2 bucket with a screen scrog grow . So I recommend adding 2 CFL grow lights on side of your two Led light panels , which will help maintain temperature with less heat and add more intense light with less heat in a small grow space .
I’m having the same type of issues with mine my set up is almost the same as yours but i also have 4 x150 w CFL’s in mine need help to lol

These are my first auto’s and yes they are really producing. I frequent a forum that I cannot post because they market seeds however; it’s a forum that is dedicated to auto flowers and they have a sub forum for autopot growers.
I purchased the autopots and coco grow medium because of what I saw and read in that forum. There are growers there that routinely pull huge numbers from auto flower plants using autopots.
Not saying my results are all due to the autopots but that was the hope and intent and it seems, even relatively inexperienced growers like myself, can pull a half pound from an autoflower without much difficulty.
Honestly, I think it has something to do with the short life of the auto, the continuous feeding provided by the autopot and the coco allowing quick and heavy root growth.

thanks matty I’m using dwc for the first time haven problems getting new seedlings to grow. dose this sound like it could be microb problem

Well I’m running nac78 inch by 78 inch by 78 inch tent! I got a mega 1000 led from nextlight, And two sp 3000 Mars !! Mega has 1435 ppfd! Each Mars has 841 ppfd! I’m killing it!
