Extractor will be the best way to use up that flower. Terpenes I assure you are still very much present.

BHO, when done correctly. Is one of the best ways to preserve terpenes in a decent concentrate on a consumer level.
You won’t get better potential terpene preservation without spending much, much more. BHO is the very top on consumer level, imo. If you go above that, consider yourself commercial. lol.
The entire process, when done correctly. Basically keeps the gas in liquid form and draws it with thermal energy… the dry ice… if you do it correctly. It pulls the majority of everything out. Then you super chill and reclaim the gas… leaving only your concentrate. As long as everything is done correctly, sealed and completely vacuumed before start… there’s nothing you can technically “lose”. It either is still in the bud or isn’t… if it isn’t. It’s on your rig somewhere… majority in collection.
So… the gas of choice is a solvent here. All gases are liquid form below a certain temperature. All gases WANT to be a liquid form. They will follow the cold.
In northern Alaska they heat their hoses with propane. But they heat their propane tanks with electricity. Otherwise. The propane wouldn’t burn. Because you can’t burn a liquid.

How often can I cut off fan leaves to promote bigger plants? Can I do FIMing as well at the same time? How often can I cut off all the fan leaves?
I’m trying to make as big plants as I can right now before I flip to flower.
The plants are about 5 ft tall, so I figure another foot or so then I’ll flip.

You can trim as much as you want as long as you have time to let them recover and grow back. People will tell you not to do this or that, but if you don’t mind extending veg time you can do anything you want. Rule of thumb is expect for them to double in size vertically during flower. Some only grow 20-30% during stretch, some triple.

I’m thinking about replacing Loud Pedal with Purp Express from sunken treasure when the time comes.

Hopefully Christmas went well for everyone. Will try to update today. Need to inspect the solos for sex, maybe I will get to narrow them down a little more.
Possibly training more on the alien snow cone and brown sugar cake. Loud pedal is pretty much on auto pilot.

@Newt yes the women in our life. They love us. Growers of the green joy. Mine asks me everyday " well how are they doing?" I GIVE a report. She’s happy we have two growing in the tent and more coming in the nursery. And yes she helps trim at harvest with her clipping. She has many lovely talents I prayed for before I met her and lets say I am a well pleased man! I love her forever she loves to fish, grow, garden, and watch scl-fi among other things.@cooterjuice
