This is my first thread on here, but lets roll!! So far we have already gotten seeds sprouted and rolling to hunt out moms, majority of them have already shown sex and received their first round of topping. All of them are in recycled living soil that has been amended with Roadside Organics Green Mountain Veg nutrients.
Also have several trays of clones that are rooted and rocking in 4" pots, strains are Guide Dog and Roscoes Papaya (my own projects) and are ready to move out to the light dep for transplanting and a few weeks of veg before flip, just waiting on weather.
I will toss up some pics of the clones and seedlings as well as some from our 2022 season. Will try and keep everything updated as we progress along. Always open to any questions!!
Thank you, once we started scaleing up our grow and nutrient supply for our own farm, making our blends available only made sense. Had been sharing the recipes for years beforehand but was difficult for many to source all the ingredients and make themselves. I am super happy to see so many that had been following us for so long having great success with our Highway Dust blends. Awesome seeing so many more organic growers these days and getting to be a part of the great clean growing community.

Question?..How do you deal with (If you have any at all) Caterpillars/ cutworms…As duly noted in my replies & posts I have a terrible Cater problem every season. I do the basic preventative sprays and methods in Veg…But in flower is where I run into problems. any input is appreciated.
I just started your veg product yesterday with three indoor clones. Looking forward to the results. I have ~three months to decide on a nutrient line for this year’s outdoor grow.

@AL_GREEN absolutely got some tips man, the caterpillars/cutwprms/army worms are definitely some of the tougher pests to deal with outdoors and can require a multi step approach for the best results.
•To start i apply beneficial nematodes(once everyother month) into the ground soil surrounding my space as well as the pots, the nematodes will kill cutworms/army/worms/caterpillars as they move along the ground.
•Maintaining a higher brix content can help deter them as well.
• Then also release predator insects to your environment so they establish a population and help keep the pest at bay naturally (trichogama wasps for caterpillers).
• there is the standard issue bacillus thuringiensis sprays you can use (monteray bt, diplo bt etc) that can do alot, the thing with bt though is it takes time to kill them(they have to eat plant materialwith bt on it to infect them), and over applications in flower will cause mold. So if using bt i recommend spraying bt waiting three days they hitting with lost coas, zerotol, or another cleaning type spray, and then reapply the bt, avoiding spraying past week 3/4 of flower.
•We also utilize cover crop in our growing process, there are several plants in our cover crop mix that are much more attactive to caterpillars than cannabis so if we get them they will will stay fown low in the cover crop and never actually touch the cannabis.
I know it sounds like alot but getting a regime that wprks for you and your setup is key, theae ate the tricka we have had the most success with
