Hey all, so by no means am i experienced in diy LEDs, this is a rough idea and def needs an experienced hand and mind to touch it up so any critique is appreciated, im new so please be gentle with no insults if ik way off on something

Let’s back up, your grow space is 48x60 or your fixture is that size? If that’s your fixture, what size is the grow space?
I’m not aware of meanwell having a 1500 watt driver. But I can definitely help you get what you need. I think we will probably be starting from square one though.

thats the size of my fixture, my grow space is 8’ x 20’ , you actually are involved in my grow room build as well lol, also ive been searching for a 1500w as well but no luck so far a gentleman at an electronics site mentioned one on a forum when i was getting prices on equipment

my father builds electrical items every day so were going full diy running the diode wires ourselves no pcb

You can get mid power stuff in 1120mm, or use two 560mm back to back and get to roughly 4’. That’s what most people do.

okay ill write that down thank you , so what about the diode count per board and the diode ratio i copied some popular brands ratios to an extent

Depends on where you’re trying to end up. Anything between about 410nm and 630nm can be easily provided by base white leds, you just adjust cct to get you closest to where you want to end up. Then supplement anything you feel like adding. How much of what goes back to what you’re shooting for.

You are basically looking at 4 fixtures that each cover about 4’x5’?
exactly a fixture that covers my entire canopy width amd length

Swing by ol’ @Grandaddy013 journal. I believe he runs screens that exact size, and is using plc photoboost strips. Almost a copy of the video, but stretched strip spacing out a little. He seems pretty happy with his builds.
