Lollipoping before flower

Hey everyone,
This is my first indoor grow and I need to switch to flower this Friday due to time and space limitations in my tent. I have a plant that was topped 4 days ago, I made the decision to lollipop this plant today in hopes of redirecting some of the energy from the removed branches towards the topped main branches in an effort to get more growth from the new shoots before the transition. It’s too late to go back now but I’m wondering if this was the right thing to do or if I could/should have planned to do this earlier, thus reducing stress just before flipping? Once I flip it will have been 10 days since the plant was topped and 6 days after lollipopping. The image is after I removed the lower branches.
