Does anyone have any idea why my results are not very potent? The plants always look great and have nice buds but the high just isn’t there. I am growing white widow, banana kush, and northern lights. How can they look so great but not have the high one expects? I am talking about seeds from two other well-known seed banks and ILGM.

A good harvest needs: good seed, good grow media, good nutes, good light.
lights and nutes are essential…a little more the the others
Could be the cure that’s my guess, if we are talking autos they all seem a tad weaker
Did you harvest when every pistil had darkened(and preferably if you had a loupe and 10%ish amber) otherwise you may just not be an indica guy and may wanna switch over to sativas , Mexican airlines and crystal candy are the best sativas I’ve grown thus far

How much amber is in your trics? What kind of buzz are you expecting? If you’re looking for a more relaxing buzz you aren’t gonna get it before the trics are ready.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve been reading on curing. It seems hard to believe curing could make that much of a difference but Im just going to have to be a little more patient I suppose.

You’d be surprised what you can get with a smart phone. Close up zoomed in. Then zoom in and screen shot. Newer Samsung phones are the best for this but you can get pretty close with others. I use my phone alone.
The dark is the purple of the haze. Still chopping that one in 7 days.

You are harvesting way too early, probably all clear trichs, which leads to a weak high. 75% brown is an outdated old-school method that makes you take your plants way too early, probably needed another 2-3 weeks at that point. I don’t even think about harvesting til my hairs are more like 95-98% brown and then I watch the trichs for peak harvest time.

Going off the pics the plants are way to early therefore not giving you the smoke youre looking for all youre pistils should be orange and you should have about 30% amber tricombs with the rest being all cloudy

Amount of amber is a preference. Could go 40%+ for a soporific effect like keystonecops does.

If you’re looking for couch lock or downer, which is what I’m gathering from you saying your early weed isn’t giving the high you want. You are an indica guy not sativa. Sativa is the speedier buzz

I’ve been testing it too early I guess. I’ve kinda been going on the time to harvest for auto’s which is what…about 8-9 weeks I think.

Its not because there autos is it?
Take it you didn’t read up much on autos? Autoflowers have less potency than photoperiod plants tell him why boys.
