Little nute burn or overwater?

Got some burning on the tips of some leaves. I’m doing a gorilla auto and a Gsc auto. I have about 200w of wall power from purple led grow lights set about 24” above them.
These are 3 weeks from seed in Mother Earth soil. I gave them a half dose of Mother Earth 4-4-4 at the 2 week point and they did awesome… the gorilla started looking weak and sagged a bit… so I gave the rest of the dose of those dry amendments…
the gorilla looks fine now, but the gsc just got these burns on some leaf tips.
I have (admittedly) been a bit heavy handed on the watering, but it seemed like these ladies were fine with it. When I added the most recent amendments, I watered the crap out of them to try to water in the new bites…
Could they have grown too close to the lights? Could this be from overwatering? Or is it possible that I dry amended too much? I always ph my water to between 6-6.5… my water comes from the tap a bit high, so I usually just have to knock it down.
I’m lost for answers here and don’t know the right play…
I raised up my lights, and waiting for them to dry out a bit… but not sure? Maybe I should be flushing? Dry soil amendments though and I don’t think too much… but might be soil too hot?
Thanks folks in advance

Should I get rid of those couple of leaves, or could they bounce back? And if this is a nute burn, since it’s dry amendments, would it self resolve… could those raw dry amendments just have briefly hit too close and gave it a quick but temporary burn?

At 3 weeks old, depending on your soil, i would hold off on nutes. It looks to be just nute burn and nothing else. Do you happen to know what the NPK rating on your soil is? I dont grow in soil but i can tag a few who can guide you better.

That’s what I would have said also… but only on two leaves…?
Better wait for the opinions of the more experienced growers…

@Oldguy, @Hoppiefrog, @Budbrother, @GreenJewels to tag a few more…

And also, maybe post pictures under normal lights would help…

I went more for the experience of the growers than the medium… :man_facepalming:
Most of the times I also forget those info.

For the record, I think that @Hoppiefrog, @Budbrother and @GreenJewels are in living soil
and @Oldguy and I are in Pro-Mix…

I’m looking at the placement of the fan / heater outflow and the marks on the affected leaves are right in line with it.
But again not sure with the blurple light.

Wind burn?

Possible but can’t tell for sure.

Edit. I’ve seen the edges of mine lighten when the fan is chafing them together without the curl associated with that.

Ahhhhh i see, leaves do seem to appear to be be pushed by the fan…

Yep, the only affected leaves are the ones near the fan/heater, that points to the problem.

I’m moving the fan now. I did actually have it higher, but when the gorilla dropped I dropped it closer to the intake to try to provide better airflow. Maybe that was the mistake? And in all honesty, when I amended them, if some of those nutes accidentally went directly on the plant? I didn’t think that happened but maybe.
The Npk of that soil is 19-8-11, and it says to reammend as early as 2 weeks. I gave half of that recommendation. I thought it may have been too light when the one looked a bit weak, so I added the second half of that recommended dose
The amendments were 4-4-4 and I have 4-9-5 for when they start to bud. They’re autos, and I have had them on an 18/6 light schedule since they popped.
It’s been super smooth so far, so they’ve gotten the exact same treatment the whole time…
the burn is only on the one side… should I swap the position of the plants?

Shutting that heater off too. It’s not on too much… the temp is about good without it and it has a thermostat. It’s just in there to keep it super consistent. I’ll shut it down though and let em rest if that seems like a good move? Temp might drop to around 70… so it should be solid without it for a bit

Weird the issue is only on one side id say vpd issue due to air flow or too close to a heat source/light

Okay so the question here for the newbie like myself who screwed up knowing nothing and stuck seeds into 15 gal fab pots of ffhf soil for like 3 months with nothing……. What’s easier with Gaia greens dry amendments and worm castings??? @kaptain3d @Hoppiefrog @Oldguy @Budbrother @GreenJewels

I’ve not used Gaia green.sorry, idk anything about it.
@kaptain3d you get around alot :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::grin: would you know anyone using it?

Okay @GreenJewels no necessarily just Gaia greens but dry amendments in general. I’m literally just looking for the base to start with. They’re a SO FREAKING MANY and I don’t wanna go pay all bulky bucks on some medium that’s definitely not necessary if I’ll be doing my own worm castings, and dry amendments. The only reason I threw the name out is bc that’s where I think I’ll be heading for the neuts.

@Hoppiefrog can direct you better than I on the Gaia Green products.

Dry amendments, sure thing. Just need more info about your grow, and in your topic.

Exactly! I was going to refer you to @Hoppiefrog and @Budbrother !
