Lighting per square meter

A customer has a question or concerns and I hope we can get some opinions on it, thanks.

im not clear on the amoun on light my plants should recieve(lets say i want to grow 4 plants on that sqare meter)

The rule of thumb is 50 watts per square foot or 35 per for led’s (plug draw).

For a meter square that would be around 450 watts and 300 watts respectively.

It has to be real watts drawn from the wall, not some crazy marketing “equivalence” number. Does not matter if you have one plant or four in that space. It’s the light intensity that matters.

400-600 watt mh/hps. 4 small amazon led panels. 2 large amazon led panels. 315 lec. , or six high efficiency 50 watt cobs.

Take your pick. I even put them in order of what should be cheapest to most expensive.
