Hello, I am a beginner and have a homemade 3x2x5 tent with a spider farmer 1000 with dimmer. I am germinating two zkittles autos and they should be popping in a couple days. I read the mfr specs and they say light height is to be 24 to 30 inches for germination. Does this sound right for my application? And is this on 100 percent power? Right now I’m at 30 inches and am maintaining 72 degrees.
30 inches is fine. Not necessary to go full power for seedlings. The lowest setting should work fine for the first couple of week of the plants life. After that you can gradually increase light intensity. You should be at 100% power by flowering.
