A question from a fellow grower:
I have ten gavita 1150 watt lights in a area 14 foot by 12 foot.Is that too much light or am i ok? Thanks
Gavita recommended 5 lights for me if I remember correctly, in a 4×16 canopy even tho the advertised spread is 4x6 feet at 3’ from canopy. Something to do with optimal uniformity and penetration. I only had four lights at 3’ from finished canopy in that space and I was happy, also used the orca material around canopy. Tried it with a 4x16 then a 6x16 canopy and was more happy. If I had your space I would start with two rows of four unless power is no issue. Hope this helps a little.
