Light schedule for my rookie a$$

Will someone please explain or simply forward a light timing schedule? Making me nervous tent comes in tomorrow. Black Widow 6 weeks.

Usually you want to run your lights for 18 hours on and 6 hours off, doesnt matter which hours. If you’re having trouble with heat. Having your lights on during the coolest part of the day, or at night can help.
When your plant is mature and ready to flower, you will give your plant 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness and this will begin the flowering process

Thank you.

@hvactech…download and read the Free Grow Book on this site.

Lot of newbie information there.

Remember size of pot determines size of plant and goodies she will grow.
Remember…if regular start flower so plants don’t get too tall. They will double in height.

Make sure your 12 hours of darkness are really pitch black. Any light during that period can knock them back into veg and may even make hermaphrodites.

I had my 2 plants at 12/12 for 3 weeks and only one started to flower so I went to a 10/14 light/dark cycle and immediately the other plant took off. Really screwed up my rotation schedule haha.
