Light kits? Hard to assemble?

After seeing options I occasionally see the “some assembly required” options.

I am reasonably competent and almost downright handy, even proficient with a soldering iron if needed. Are there kits that are mid range to upper tier that cut some substantial discount for building yourself.

Want to keep options open and I can put together things that are not too complicated

I figured a hundred or two saved by going that route could go toward a decent tent/ventilation system

Bottom line if you can unbutton your fly and pee you can put them together.

I’m looking to start with 1 to 2 plants however I want a light that if I’m good at this, I won’t grow out of and a certainty need a light that would be good for seed to harvest

@Mr_Wormwood The HLG kits are very nice, easy to assemble. One good choice would be the HLG 260 V2 R-Spec XL for a 4x4 space .you would need to purchase two kits and would fit your budget. I like using two lights gives you a little flexibility. You won’t be disappointed. You can Google HLG website several videos to show you how to put them together.

You can also go to utube and see video instructions to put them together.

@Mr_Wormwood Yes ,for one or two plants you will be fine. Later if you want a whole tent full of buds wall to wall in your 4x4 space, you will need two lights. Light will be good start to finish. If you need any help along the way lots of growers here just put the @ symbol in front of their name for a tag @Mr_Wormwood

The others have you in great shape. Assembly of qb kits is in line with maybe freshman level electronics class, not difficult at all. Shouldn’t need to solder anything. There is probably dozen or so videos on YouTube showing Assembly of various hlg qb kits.
