I wanted to open this up to talk more about the Jack’s nutrient line up because I have some mixed reviews thus far. Most of grow experience has been with either organics and soil or with GH and coco. Prior to trying out DWC I did several runs with Jack’s. 3 photos in coco and 6 autos in coco for a total of 2 cycles a piece. What I’ve found is that my photos run effortlessly with the 321 regiment. My autos have run into complications with the Nitrogen content but ALL grows have exceeded my yields using both super soil, amended soil, amended coco and GH.
Today I run the 321 lineup in DWC with a Cream mandarin sativa dominant for my first dwc run. The plant has shown issues with calcium/phosphorus but we are making good progress overall. After glancing at the feed schedule for Jack’s I noticed they encourage using bloom booster for 2 weeks for bud set then put you back on A and B. I grabbed some booster mostly because I like Jack’s and think the booster could/should be included in auto runs. Though I haven’t figured out how I’ma try this I want to. But overall what’s your experience with Jack’s? Have u used any supplements? Have you run autos? What’s some pros and some cons you’ve found in the lineup and how could it be improved if at all? Tag a friend if they use Jack’s I’m curious what the community thinks overall. Bud porn is appreciated.
I use jacks but also add an supps. If u use jacks strait itself and notice issues up one or down another to solve the issue. If too much n take away some of part b ect. Low calcium add more epsom. I have notice with autos and nitrogen tox problems if used at every feed so i do feed water feed and use calmag with just water days. The an sups i use are bud ignitor big bud and bud candy also cyco silica tribus humic acid kelp extract i just rotate what i use on certain days to rid of some of what i have lying around the house now. Lol. I jave a gallon of eacch of the gh flora trio from the grow before i started jacks. Might ise the gh on the garden outsides and make it purdy too.
Lol u sound like me looking at all these nutes going, they gotta get used somewhere I’m actually at to 4-2-2 at this point. Oddly enough we’ve been saying jacks 321 when the bag I have recommends part A at 4g/gal. Rn I’m only throwing in mammoth and hydroguard. Had somewhat of a hard time locating fulvic and even more so, what kinda fulvic to get and from where so I was like meh. @HappyHydroGrower@peachfuzz@Myfriendis410@yoshi Not2SureYet any thoughts? Would finding fulvic be worth it or no?
Humic acid , Recharge , seaweed and fish , Fish shit , mammoth is great stuff , it’s costly but you can still get that same froat for less , but recharge each week , or over drive and B-52 , silica, any of those should help .
In DWC? I been sitting on my recharge since I left coco cuz I was worried about getting some unwanted growth in the res. Honestly what I did the first two weeks was hit it with the recharge a day before a res change. I only stopped that cuz I usually see an uptick in how much N is absorbed and I seemed to be running into issues with the autos on that already. I might actually do this with my Creme de la chem tonight since I’m due for a res change on it if it’s a decent move.
I’m using jacks 321 for the first time ever and loving the results.
I used silica,tribus original and jacks 321 in Veg.
I am using silica,jacks 321,fulvic acid and mpk in flower.
The mpk is only for the first 3weeks of flower.
Also in the first 3 weeks while using mpk I was told to change from jacks 321 to jacks 222.
2 grams part A
2 grams part B
2 grams epson salt
1.2 grams of MPK
Only for the first 3 weeks of flower then back to jacks 321 with fulvic acid and silica.
So far I am really really pleased with the results.
That’s not too far off from Jack’s booster section of the feed schedule sounds like. From what I read the idea is to stop the veg processes to make a faster transition to bloom? I grabbed their bloom booster to play around with it eventually. Comparing it to Part A now and only thing I think it would need is some calcium cuz that’s not in the bloom booster or the part A.
I’m on my 3rd grow using Jack’s. I grow in a 50/50 mixture of FF OF and FF Coco Loco. I don’t use any nutrients during Veg, but do add cal-mag and Tribus. Once I flip to flower and ppm’s drop down below 1000 I start Jack’s 321 and run it with every watering. I will usually bump the Epsom salt up before I get to the end. Couldn’t be happier. The Only other nutrients I’ve used is FF Trio and FF Dry nutrients for flower. Always had a issue before I got to harvest. My goal has been to grow quality weed with as little effort possible. Jack’s has definitely allowed me to do that. Here’s some bud porn using Jack’s.
No, essentially it’s soil. Coco Loco is 50-60 coco the rest is aged forest products. Usually once I get later in flower I’ll have to water every 2 days.

My first run was with soil and loved the fact that I could water every 2-3 days.
I’m currently on my second run and using coco coir only. I’m really loving the results and plants are twice the size on my second run but watering every day is a mission lol.

See that’s the thing I’m kinda noticing. Really maximizing the beneficials seems like its happening in a medium like soil or coco. Not to say it cant be done in just water but just from what I see, lotta people using it in coco or soil though a lot of my growmies here are also in DWC or RDWC.
I have read that hydro is a lot of work.
You have to stay on top of grow daily making sure everything is on point.not a lot of room for error.
If you haven’t given coco a thought maybe you should.

Yeah that’s what I’m trying to avoid. I use RO water which is also a issue watering daily. I’ve seriously considered going to Coco, but so far I’ve been able to get decent results with current methods. I’m limited on time and space so I have just stayed with what has worked well for me.
Give it a try, like I said with this mixture I haven’t had to use nutrients until flower. Which is a big plus for me.I usually Veg for 6-8 weeks within 2 weeks of flipping ppm’s start to drop fast. Give me a tag if you decide to run mixture.
A large portion of my growsperience is in coco and that was waaay more work than DWC. All I do is hit the res with my pen twice a day outta boredom and adjust. I actually like this a lot just wanna better understand these additives and the hydro process more. Coco will always be my second love next to TLO
This is my maiden run with Jacks. Doing a Purple Kush in a autopot with coco in a spring (fabric) bag. Also have a purple kush in a 5 gallon SIP. Both started on Jacks. I soaked the coco in calmagic but still find I need to supplement with it occasionally. I also picked up some Blossom Booster and plan on using it as directed. I also have a bunch of advanced nutrients. I’ll probably add Rhino Skin, Bud Candy, Big Bud and Nirvana into the mix when the time comes. They are on day 59. They will veg for a couple more weeks.
