How long should my Taproot be before planting

All you bury is the Taproot correct
As soon as the seed splits open I plant it, it makes it easier to just drop it in a shallow hole and let it figure it out by itself then trying to make a hole the perfect depth and manipulating the seed to get it in the hole orientated correctly.
I bury it about an 1/8-1/4 inch deep. You need something to help the seed shell fall off so planting it at the surface won’t work. I also found using an inch of seed starter has improved success rates.
